The Cake Smash Photoshoot is one of my most favorite shoots. Its a great option for a little ones birthday but also gives us some cute and fun filled photos. We start off first by taking some photos of the child and family, then we proceed to the cake smash and then we will get them in the tub for the 'splash' part of the shoot.
P.S. We can substitute the cake for other foods e.g. donuts, ice cream, watermelon. We can use any food or fruit that you want!

Who provides the cake?
You will need to bring it. I can provide you recommendations of styles/suppliers.
When should I do the shoot?
Its a good idea to do it around 4-6 weeks before your child's birthday, so there is enough time for you to order any portraits that you want to display at their birthday party or for any personalized thank you notes.
Can I bring my family along and will they be included in the photos?
Of course you can! I can talk this through with you.
What should my child wear?
I can send you examples, or we will talk through the theme we are planning and so we can speak about what would look best.
Will the parents get dirty?
Yes! Keep some spare clothes that are suitable for you to be photographed in. Bring a towel for your child and an extra set of clean clothes. Keep wipes on you.
Can you explain the process/pricing to me?
Yes of course. Following the photoshoot, I start by:
Removing any unsuitable photos (e.g. eyes closed, out of focus etc...)
I then send you all the photos with an initial professional edit
You then select the ones you like best via an online gallery (8 or 15 photos)
I will then put the photos you have selected, through a further second detailed professional edit.

Where will the session take place?
At my Studio in Canons Park (Post code HA8 6SY), or outdoors in Canons Park.
I can travel to you in Central London (for a small extra charge of £25)
